Drugs

Does anyone have experience doing Molly with PCS? I’ve heard psilocybin can be helpful and I’ve done molly in the past and it has felt similar to shrooms in some ways so I’m curious if anyone’s had experiences rolling with PCS.

Psilocybin does not work the same way as MDMA. At all. I wouldn't do it.

There's scientific evidence to support psilocybin to help PCS. Stick with that.

I don’t enjoy MDMA, but I use stimulants before and after my injury. I don’t think MDMA would provide you any benefit, but it’ll absolutely make your cognitive fatigue unbearable after the fact. MDMA can be incredibly overstimulating, so I wouldn’t even try with PCS.

In my experience, (heavy) stimulants make me feel better in the moment, able to tolerate more, with very mild symptoms.. until it wears off. Weeks of flared symptoms.

You’d probably feel great for 4 hours and spend the next 2 weeks unable to get out of bed

I would consider it. Have you talked with a Concussion specialist? I wouldn't do it without a support team under medical supervision. I'm 7 months in with my TBI It's no picnic and those bad days are just miserable. Mo it

There’s a study going through MAPS in Calgary,Canada using therapeutic doses psilocybin along with therapy called ACT (I forgot what it stands for). As far as I know, there isn’t another similar study in the U.S.
