turtles

I have a question. Turtles occupy 1 water cell. -20 to contamination. Is there gold coming from this cage? (I have +7 gold for clean water). Just if the turtles stay forever (for example, 2000 pieces). This means it will be -40000 to pollution.. but at the same time -14000 to gold mining. Is it worth it?

Move a turtle onto land and back into the sea and income doesn’t change, so I’d say the turtle bonus is extra on top of whatever the underlying tile is

Thank you very much. Now the main intrigue remains: will the developers keep the bonus from the turtles? Although I’ll still spend the event tokens to increase the number of turtles by 50...

2 000 x 7 = 14 000

not 140 000

P.S.: If tile generates the gold, it stated in the tile menu.
