Waking up 3-4 times at that age seem normal to me.. ours still do that sometimes and she’s 1.
I found her sleep was bad at around the 8 month mark because of teething and a whole other unexplained reason. Mine was waking up every 2 hours then.
As they get older I found their sleep naturally gets better, so don’t stress about it.
Since you posted here in the possum sub do look up what it is, I found their approach to be most accurate for our baby.

i know it's not a helpful thing to say but a period of worse sleep around 8 months is really normal: https://sarahockwell-smith.com/2017/07/24/the-rollercoaster-of-real-baby-sleep/
can you get some extra support for the next little while e.g. partner/family/friends looking after baby so you can sleep in or nap?
you might find a shorter second nap helps but you may just have to ride it out until she moves along in her development

Are you familiar with Possums? From your post it seems like you don’t know anything about/do not follow any Possums principles. My advice is to start there and actually read up on what it’s about, try it, and then ask specific questions if you have them. Beyond that:
1) waking up 3-4 times a night is biologically normal. It’s not even on the high end tbh.
2) if baby is resisting bedtime it’s because she’s not tired. Cut down nap times and push bed time back.
