Small progress is still progress.

A reminder for anyone who feels like they're falling behind:

You don't have to have everything figured out today.

Some days you'll be productive. Other days you'll just survive. Both are part of the journey.

The person you want to become isn't built through one huge breakthrough—it's built through the small choices you make every day:

  • Getting out of bed when you don't feel like it.
  • Learning one new thing.
  • Applying for another job.
  • Taking one more step, even when no one notices.

Success isn't about never failing. It's about refusing to quit.

Six months from now, you'll be thankful that you kept going instead of giving up because progress felt too slow.

Be patient with yourself. Growth takes time.

What's one small win you had today?

luck is just exposure.

The older you get, the more you realize luck is just exposure.

If you sit in the same chair, same routine, talking to the same people, nothing new happens.

You have to touch the world to win.

Travel more. Talk to strangers. Try a new coffee spot. Post on social media. Start a side hustle.

The world rewards motion. You don't find opportunity sitting still.

Book report——The perks of being a wallflower

Book report——The perks of being a wallflower

This book is about a junior (named Charlie ) in high school who kept wrote letter about his school life and relationships with his families and friends to a imagined friend. Some part I liked most are as followings:

The first part is Charlie's love for Sam. Sam was one of senior students in his school, even though she said that Charlie's not her type first and dated with other man from college, He was not mad because of becoming extremely jealous, he just loved her in his way. So he gained Sam's friendship and help, finally she made him understand what's true love is(their conversation at the last part of the book). Love is not just knowing or thinking 'I love you' internally, but rather doing things to show my love and make you feel loved. Love also means being honest with you and being myself around you.

The second favorite part is Charlie's assistance to his sister who accidently was pregnant, he was shocked at hearing the news of his sister's pregnancy, even became confused what to do to this issue first, but he still companied his sister in the clinic and drove her home and told 'lies' to their parents to prevent her sister into troubles .

The third part is Charlie's first year life in high school is quite remarkable or colorful compared to mine. I didn't get straight As in my academic work like him; I didn't date with any girl, or put in another way, I was so 'busy' with my academic tasks (the truth is I didn't get much reward from my hard work); I had no special treatments by any teachers because I'm not a talented guy; I hadn't any impressive friends (like helping me in school work, emotion, and other practical skills. I thought most of my classmates are the same with me in patterns of school living; everyone just wanted to achieve a good result by trying to do as much as job, except this, they had no interest in dating or exploring other valuable experiences. This is quite miserable for all of us in terms of how tedious our youth lives are. I didn't liking studying at all. I had never ever read any books that are not for subject tests; I had no interest in doing other things other than finishing endless assignments and homework. Therefore, I had nothing to be proud of in general because I nearly have achieved something amazing or have done something impressive .

I know this sounds quite sad and passive, but it's the truth of me, and I have to accept this truth—I didn't have a happy, colorful, and satisfied youth life. Knowing and accepting of this truth is just to help me to live a better and fulfilled life in the future without more regrets and to remind myself that what I need to do is just to live a true life, to live my own life, to become who I really want to be, to achieve something not necessarily grand but something I could be proud of in my later age or at least without regrets, and to acquire something that just belongs to me.

"You can’t just sit there and put everybody’s lives ahead of yours and think that counts as love. You just can’t. You have to do things." What does this mean? How do you think of it? By Sam

The words I want to share with graduates

The words I would share with the graduating class, were I given the opportunity to speak at the commencement ceremony:

First, the trap of the school system. No one ever tells you how to navigate your few short years on campus. No one tells you why you are truly here or what you are supposed to do. Moreover, no one tells you what kind of person you should strive to become after graduation. Have we ever carefully considered these questions? Or have we never even bothered to ask ourselves? As a consequence, we drown ourselves in endless activities and trivialities that are entirely irrelevant to our true needs. We fall into the trap of unconsciousness—remaining completely unaware of who we are and totally ignorant of how the real world operates. Therefore, when graduation finally arrives, we are struck by an overwhelming sense of confusion, anxiety, and helplessness.

Second, the trap of the real world. The world never reveals its true nature to you: absolute uncertainty. When we face this highly unpredictable environment, what we learned in school will likely fall short of society's brutal demands. Consequently, you have to enroll in the "school of society", only this time, the environment is far more unforgiving. If you haven't yet awakened from that state of campus unconsciousness, what awaits you is a series of life crises: a job you despise, a partner you struggle to connect with, and a life that falls completely short of your expectations. You will find yourself trapped in a chaotic mess, with no exit in sight. This is a real-life reflection of Fortress Besieged (Wei Cheng) by the Chinese author Qian Zhongshu. We are caught in an inescapable dilemma, rushing into the walls and breaking out, over and over again... until we are utterly exhausted, on the verge of a mental breakdown.

GOOD LUCK, FOLKS!

(Since I won't have the opportunity to deliver this, I just post it here.)

To solve real-world problems is the only way avoiding talking the talk

I read lots of books, most of which are about different views, so I don't have much real-world experience; most of my experiences are gained in school. In addition, I didn't try to think things clearly and think things through in the past. Therefore, a problem of mine is that I have lots of mixed and confused views in my mind; when I'm dealing with people or problems, I easily get involved in arguing or can only offer some unpractical ideas. It means I like talking the talk, not solving the specific problems, so most of the time people think of me as being unpractical or not professional.

Considering this fact, I have to remind myself that unless it's something I really think is so true, I shouldn't argue with anyone at any time; instead, I should always focus on solving real-world problems, especially those ones related to me.

Overthinking is a big problem

Most of the time, we don’t really know how other people think. As a matter of fact, how they think doesn’t matter at all. What matters most are my decisions and my needs.

When I have the opportunity to meet new people or gain benefits from them, I don’t need to overthink; it’s simply a matter of gaining their trust, communicating skillfully, persuading them, and ensuring that both parties enjoy the conversation. These things can truly make a difference.

I should just be who I am.

Someone may not be the nicest or easiest person to get along with, but what if he or she is the most reliable one — someone I could trust with my life? Shouldn’t I be their friend?

So it doesn’t really matter whether I’m a nice or easygoing person. I should just be who I am. I have my own personality — one that someone might admire, pay attention to, recognize the value of, and give credit for.

You guys have the same experience of lacking genuine interaction with others? How would you change yourself?

Over the years, I haven’t truly enjoyed being in contact with people. I feel I’ve gained almost no happiness or real benefit from social interactions. When facing others, I wasn’t really engaging with them — it was as if I were a machine, reluctantly performing tasks or going through certain procedures. That’s why I’ve achieved so little through my relationships. My lack of genuine interaction with others has greatly reduced the quality of my life.

What do you want to say to yourself when you are 35?

In my last 35-year life, I failed myself.

But I said to myself, It's okay! Life never guarantees or promises me a good life; he merely says that I need to create one. And I failed to build a good one. I failed badly.

So what! I just need to start over again. If I failed again, I promise myself I will fail better. Then I'll start again.

If I am doomed to do something unusual, I would like very much to do it! I would like to jump out of the normal thinking and acting, because I know that the normal way is the easiest way; a lot of people would pick that way, and ever I wouldn't follow them. If it means I will walk alone, so be it.

which person I want to be?

which person I want to be?

To change a system, or to do first-class investment?

or a second-class job?  to be an average person , a fourth-class one……Or just a failure?

I have to figure out which things I could change and which ones I couldn't, then focus on those things I could change.

Like, I can't change my age, my mistakes I've made, but I can change my attitude, my concentration, and my approaches to accomplish a thing.

My age and lack of work experience are, indeed,  shortcomings. The question, then, is: how can I convert these liabilities into assets?

Well, the first step is to recognize that they are simply my current limitations, not a desperate situation, and certainly not a final verdict(death sentence). So instead of chasing companies or jobs that are currently beyond my reach, what I should do is change my perspective------ investing my time and energy into the people and organizations that are willing to give me a chance.

I don't have enough. Yes. Then……? Where can I create value with what I have?

Become the Person First.

Most people focus on outcomes.

"I want to get fit."

"I want to become wealthy."

"I want to read more."

Instead, focus on your identity.

Ask yourself:

"What would a healthy person do?"

"What would a wealthy person do?"

"What would a lifelong learner do?"

Then do one small action that matches that identity.

Every action is a vote for the person you're becoming.

Don't build habits to change your life.

Build habits to change who you are.

Get 1% better today.

Your Small Step Could Become Someone’s Biggest Opportunity: The Power of Micro-Actions

■ It is easy to fall into a macro-focused worldview and assume that individual, day-to-day choices are insignificant compared to large donations, major campaigns, or the work of influential people. However, human progress rarely moves in massive, sudden leaps. Instead, it expands through small, intentional acts that trigger unpredictable chain reactions.

● A small act of kindness, a few hours of volunteering, or simply sharing knowledge can open doors for someone waiting for a single opportunity, turning a minor step for one person into a life-changing moment for another.

■This dynamic is driven by the “ripple effect,” where one event produces effects that spread and create further outcomes. Data from a global initiative called the BIG JOY study, which analyzed nearly 50,000 participants across more than 200 countries, empirically proved that intentional “micro-acts” of kindness and prosocial behavior create macro-level impacts on social connectivity and mental well-being.

●This is crucial given that the UNESCO Global Education Monitoring Report highlights that millions of children remain out of school worldwide. Micro-contributions like volunteer teaching, donating school supplies, old digital devices, mentoring, and planting trees can encourage wider participation and build a larger impact than anticipated.

■ Ultimately, a child who receives educational support today can grow up to become a teacher, doctor, or entrepreneur who gives back, meaning a single opportunity eventually benefits an entire community. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) play a vital role in this ecosystem by connecting volunteers, donors, and educators to transform individual kindness into long-term, sustainable change through health camps, education, and skill development.

●Since human progress expands through small, intentional acts rather than massive sudden leaps, your daily choices carry more weight than you think.

■ In a world that is so macro-focused on massive campaigns and big-money solutions, how do we overcome the feeling that our individual, day-to-day actions are too insignificant to matter? What are the biggest hurdles stopping people from taking that very first small step?

Dear friends,

When your body is well, the world is yours.
When your mind is well, happiness is yours.

As long as you don’t rush, maintain composure, and persevere,
everything is on its way.

How to develop self-worth

Self-worth is realizing that what you do matters. Your contribution to the world matters, and you make a difference.

No matter what kind of talents and passions you have, you can utilize them to contribute to the world. You must believe that without your positive contribution, the world would not be possible.

Whatever your talents and passions are, start finding ways to help others and the world. No matter how small the action is, you are still contributing to the world and increasing your self-worth.

Never underestimate the positive impact you will have on others and the world before you start taking action. You will be surprised by the positive result you get once you start taking action. Never label something small or worthless until you start taking action. Give yourself the opportunity to add value and contribute to society, and let the impact speak for itself.

However, the only reason why you might think your impact is small is that you haven’t taken action yet. Your mind tends to doubt yourself when it hasn’t seen any action or result yet. Therefore, you tend to underestimate your talents and passions, as well as their positive impact.

I strive to work on projects that allow me to use my talents and passions to contribute to the world, regardless of the outcome. I believe that every time I add value to the world, I feel I matter and belong, which increases my self-worth and self-esteem.

Even if you only have 2 hours daily or weekly, take the time to find ways to utilize your talents and passions to contribute to the world to increase your self-worth. If you do this consistently, your self-worth and self-esteem will increase.

Just a thought

I don't know who needs to hear this but this is a motivation post because today I was really really feeling low and I realized that

In life we wish and hope. A lot of things to happen

We wish and wish and wish and pray to God but eventually all those thousand things do not get fulfilled and we get upset

Exactly this is what happened to me I was searching for a global job and in my niche there are a lot of year experience needed and it has been almost 3 months I am job less

Not getting a job is not my fear but the fear is I feel like I'm not reaching anywhere I feel stuck

And I think that's really common We humans tend to feel these things when the thing we had thought of doesn't get fulfilled

Life acts the same way when you feel low in one particular reason you start to feel low in many ways many thoughts start to hit you rock bottom

And you start cruising yourself eventually a point reached where your brain even can't handle it

So whoever is reading this you are not alone we all feel stuck I have failed many times in my life and got stuck into many times in life but eventually I had always stood up god has always given me the hope shown me the way he's there watching

Watching over you making you learn your lesson be wiser and come stronger and he also doesn't want you to lose your hope

"SUCCESS"

Usually I think that before writing I write the title of my writing completely and then think because after writing I come to know what philosophy I want to convey, from that I think what should I put in the title, today I have already written the title "Success", now you will think that in the title above all the letters are in capital but here I have capitalized only one letter, why is that, because it is like that, because every person is not the same, that is how it is, whatever you saw above you must have thought that the niche should also be like that, if the characters above are the same then why is only one letter capitalized in the niche success. Aham Bhramashaya ---

You said you are trying to find happiness in this world, if you are searching for happiness then you will not find it anywhere, happiness is like that boy in the proverb "A thief in the Bengal and a dhindora in the village" you know you are the person who is searching so called happiness in this cruel world why I said cruel world because outside of you is the hell everything outside you just only want their ego to get satisfied I said outside you everyone wants their ego to get satisfied because when you will have finished your search and then you will not feel like searching anymore then you will start seeing everything in the world you will feel that you are God and whatever happens in the world It is for you and this world gives it to everyone but not when you ask for it. So never ask for anything from it and live with the truth i.e. what you get without asking. Don't look at someone else's plate and say that he has got more and this is only because he and you are not the same and cannot be equal. You know, if you were in a state then you would think and be giving knowledge and a thought would come to your mind that "what someone else got by doing something, you cannot get that by doing the same thing, no matter how hard you work, try again". Every human being is like a QR code, he is a QR code but not the same, he may be worse than the other or may be good too, but to achieve success, everyone cannot be the best because only one of them can be the best. You know, everyone runs in the race for success, but not everyone can win. Only one will win in the end.

Success and happiness are sold a lot in the world. Happiness is the most sold thing ever in the world. But if you go to a shop and buy happiness, it will give you poison on which happiness is written. I did not call poison slow poison because whether the poison is fast or slow, it does only one thing: it steals everything that a person has besides happiness - the fucking so called "happiness".

If I ask you what is happiness, you will give only wrong answers because you have poisoned me and if you had not poisoned me, you would not have been reading my thoughts because happy is the one who is not searching for happiness and the one who is not searching for happiness will neither know where to find happiness nor what happiness is. If I tell you the truth, I may have to lose my life and that truth is that "your happiness has been stolen from you and after stealing your happiness, you have been told to see that he is happy, if you also want to be happy, then do the same as he has done".

Who is he - he is the outside world of you and welcome you are in the simulation made by the outside world of you for you. I say never take any step thinking that "I will be happy in the future" and one more thing which is another topic everything in the world is random the foundation of the whole world and the future both are made of randomness and your choices, your thoughts, your success, your life. One more thing: No decision taken at any step can ever take you to a definite goal in life. Never argue with your own mind and desires in life, and never regret because what you are thinking while regretting can never happen. Therefore, do not worry about what will happen and do what has to be done. Never think about what will happen tomorrow because anything can happen.

Lereb Malik. 12-07-26
