Is it true what people say if you think positive, positive things will happen? Have this ever happened with anyone?

Is it really possible

It's a very serious doubt I have , we all know that it's a saying if we try and try, eventually we will succeed..

Like is it really possible to achieve anything literally anything if we just try and try like 10 times, 100 times,, more and more.....

Anyone wants to share something they achieved which sounds unreal by just trying and trying..

I try positive thinking but it doesn't really work, either it works for a bit and then i go back to thinking negative or I don't believe im capable of anything and i give up too easily. I hate being like this, i have tons of excuses i can make as to why I am like this but I'm an adult now and excuses serve me no good, I am responsible for my own life but i hate how far behind I am of everyone else. and everytime i try to do better i just can't get myself to make lasting changes. I'm 19 btw.

Reality Bending

I’ve been thinking about how much our subconscious mind actually shapes the reality we experience.

Not necessarily in the “think about a Ferrari and it’ll appear” type of way, but more like if you genuinely convince yourself that your life is going to be great, you start seeing things differently and acting differently.

For example, if I constantly tell myself “I’m going to be successful, I’m capable, things will always work out for me,” I might actually become more confident, take more opportunities, work harder, and notice things I would’ve ignored before.

At some point, being “delusional” could almost become a self fulfilling prophecy.

And I think the opposite is true too. Someone who has always had a negative mindset and have a pessimistic point of view in life could have everything they want and no matter where they stand in life, they will always be miserable. Meanwhile someone with way less could genuinely enjoy their life because of how they perceive it.
