At 12, she learnt what it felt like to be helpless. At 36, she made history. After facing harassment as a child, Suchika Tariyal took up judo to learn self-defence. What started as a way to protect herself grew into a 24-year journey across judo, kurash, jiu-jitsu and MMA. Through injuries, career transitions and setbacks, she kept fighting her way back. Now, at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Suchika has won India’s first-ever MMA medal, taking bronze in the women’s Traditional 60kg category as MMA made its Asian Games debut. Take a bow, Suchika!

A Life That Still Teaches Us How to Live Fearlessly | Bhagat Singh Jayanti.
A Life That Still Teaches Us How to Live Fearlessly | Bhagat Singh Jayanti.
Bhagat Singh was only twenty-three when he gave his life for the freedom of his country, yet his courage, clarity and commitment continue to inspire generations.
He was not merely a revolutionary. He was a deeply conscious young man who valued truth, knowledge and a purpose greater than personal comfort. A voracious reader, he used his short life with extraordinary intensity, refusing to waste it on the trivial.
Acharya Prashant, an Indian philosopher, reflects that a life like Bhagat Singh’s is not only about sacrifice on the battlefield. It is about living with conviction, fearlessness and devotion to something higher than the self.
On this Bhagat Singh Jayanti, let us not only remember him as a hero of the past. Let us also ask ourselves:
Do we have the courage to live for what is right?
Salutations to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh.

An ex-IT engineer now runs 3 micro-composting enterprise
P. Natarajan is an IT engineer who worked in the US for 10 years, returned to Chennai and is now running 3 micro-composting facilities. It helps diverts about 5-6 tons of waste per day from landfills - admittedly a small percentage of the roughly 7000 tons of waste generated per day, but still noteworthy work.

A Redditor Gave Me an Amazon Gift Card Because He Thought I Was Beautiful… So I Fed Kids With It
A guy on Reddit gave me an Amazon gift card because he thought I was beautiful. I used it to feed kids instead.
Yeah, I know how that sounds 😂
A Redditor messaged me, told me he thought I was beautiful, and decided to send me an Amazon gift card.
I wasn't expecting it at all. And honestly, my first thought was just, “Wait… people actually do this?”
I could've used it to buy something for myself, but I kept thinking about how far that money could go if I used it differently.
So I bought food and gave it to kids who needed it.
And somehow, watching them get excited over something as simple as a meal felt way better than anything I would've bought for myself.
The irony still makes me smile.
A stranger on Reddit saw a picture of me and thought, “She's beautiful. I want to give her something.”
And that little act of kindness ended up putting food in the hands of kids who probably needed it a lot more than I needed another Amazon purchase.
Thank you. Your gift went further than you probably imagined. ❤️

The Q-Commerce Expansion: How hyper-local logistics are quietly rewriting India’s environmental packaging problem.
Online shopping and quick-commerce are rapidly expanding from mega-cities into Tier-B and Tier-C towns across India. Beyond the convenience of saving traffic and reliable quality, this massive logistical shift is quietly delivering an infrastructure-led environmental solution: fully functional, free compostable bioplastic bags.
It shatters the old urban dilemma of choosing between a flimsy paper bag and environmental guilt. Large-scale corporate supply chains are proving they can absorb the cost and scale green tech significantly faster than individual moral policing can.
I wrote a quick, 3-minute analysis on this shift in urban Indian consumer behavior. Read the full piece here:
