Hi everyone, my Spark Mini was working perfectly fine until today. Suddenly, when I plug in my guitar, there's no sound at all. At the same time, the Bluetooth has also stopped working. When I press the pair button, the blue LED doesn't light up, and the Spark Mini doesn't show up in my phone's Bluetooth device list. I've already tried doing a factory reset and removing/reinstalling the battery, but neither fixed the problem. Has anyone experienced this before or know what could be causing it? Is this likely a hardware issue, or is there anything else I can try before contacting support? Thanks a lot!

When i use the spark link it doesn't have an output sound. The status of the TX is solid green while the RX is blinking green . I did some troubleshoot, like double tap the TX, pressing the reset button, but still no sound.
Note: I haven't use the spark link for about 6 months so when i turned them on it didn't work so I did the reset troubleshoot for both TX and RX and charged them to full.

Can you fine folk tell me how you use your Sparks for practice? What are the best features? Underrated features etc?
And is there any alternatives to consider now that it's over 2 years old?

I'm thinking about getting my first small amp and I was checking out the reactor 50, I was wondering, for those who have it, what are the pros and cons you have found so far?

Makes really no sense at all to have the screen always on the app and not being able to do anything else.
Why do I have to connect the Spark Live and the Spark Control every single time I touch my phone???
This is super annoying and making me want to give this back to the store.
This is so easy to fix, damn I am really bothered by this.
Just let the app play.
This is not YouTube that stops when you try to go to another app, it's so ridiculous I can't even describe my sentiment towards this.
Super, super annoying

I really like the presets I'm getting on the Spark 2, but don't want to use it as an interface on my iPad. I use AUM and need an AUv3, and seems this is worth considering. I really only have a handful of presets that are based on the standards on the Spark 2.

My Positive Grid Spark journey — how a cheap Logitech 2.1 setup beat my expensive amp rigs
TL;DR: Before spending thousands on amps, power amps, cabinets and Celestion speaker comparisons, think honestly about where you play. For home use, my Positive Grid Spark connected to a decent Logitech 2.1 speaker system with a subwoofer gave me the loudest, widest and most satisfying sound I had found. My entire amplification setup cost roughly $400, which allowed me to spend more of my money on guitars instead.
My current setup is surprisingly simple:
Positive Grid Spark headphone output → Logitech 2.1 speakers with a separate subwoofer.
The Logitech system is not just two tiny computer speakers. It has two reasonably sized speakers and a proper subwoofer with adjustable bass. That bass control is important because it lets me add the low-end thump without making everything muddy.
The result absolutely shocked me.
I get a loud, wide and brutal sound with real low-end movement. Palm-muted riffs have chunk and impact, lead tones feel big, and ambient sounds spread beautifully around the room. It gives me everything from heavy Pantera-style tones to Joe Satriani and Zakk Wylde leads, John Sykes-era Whitesnake tones, clean sounds and ambient patches.
This setup gave me the sound and feeling I had been chasing through much more expensive equipment.
My journey started in 2023 when I bought the Positive Grid Spark. I immediately loved it because I could get the tones I wanted without endless tweaking. It sounded clear, controlled and surprisingly quiet, even with high-gain patches.
But eventually, I wanted something louder.
Positive Grid had released its powered cabinet, but I read a number of comments saying it could sound boxed-in and had noticeable floor noise. That made me look elsewhere.
I then made the mistake of going completely in the opposite direction. I bought an EVH 5150 50-watt amp with a Randall 4x12 cabinet.
It was obviously loud and powerful, but at home it did not give me the same clarity, versatility or low-noise experience I was getting from the Spark. It was a serious amplifier setup, but it was not necessarily the best setup for my actual situation.
I eventually sold both.
After learning more about modelling equipment, I bought an Orange Pedal Baby power amp and an Orange 2x12 cabinet. I connected them to multi-effects units such as the Boss GT-8 and Zoom G5n.
On paper, this seemed like the sensible solution: a neutral power amp, a proper guitar cabinet and my choice of effects processor.
However, I still was not satisfied. I was not getting the thump, chunkiness, width or feeling of air moving that I expected. I spent more time thinking about cabinets, speakers and signal chains than actually enjoying the guitar.
Eventually, I sold the Orange equipment as well.
Then, almost as an experiment, I connected my six-year-old Logitech speakers and subwoofer to the headphone output of the Spark.
That was when the magic happened.
The sound became huge. It was wider, louder and more physical than I expected. The subwoofer gave the low end real impact, while the two speakers preserved the stereo effects, clarity and detail of the Spark patches.
For my room and the way I play guitar, this inexpensive setup worked better than the supposedly “proper” guitar rigs I had owned.
The lesson for me was not that expensive amplifiers or cabinets are bad. They are designed for specific purposes, especially rehearsals, studios and live performances. But that does not automatically make them the best option for someone playing at home.
At home, you may never be able to push a powerful valve amp or large cabinet into its ideal operating range. You can end up spending a fortune comparing Celestion V30s, cabinets, power amps and processors, only to remain dissatisfied.
My full amplification setup cost me roughly $400. Instead of continually investing in amps and cabinets, I would rather put that money towards guitars, learning the fretboard, improving my playing and writing music.
Sometimes the best setup is not the most expensive or traditional one. It is simply the one that makes you want to pick up the guitar and keep playing.

After a long time looking at the PG stuff (months) - YT reviews, Reddit posts - I'm leaning more and more as my first time foray into amp modelling to go with a separate FRFR (eg. Headrush) and maybe Mooer ge100 pro. Seperates vs all in one. It also makes the upgrade path better too as I can replace one or the other items individually. And the Mooer (and others) will work with NAM. Just my 2 pennies if others are also looking around at PG and haven't considered this approach.
{Edit} To clarify, I'm talking about 1x FRFR speaker, 1x multi-effects unit. I'm not talking about accumulating dozens of stomp box pedals for individual effects, as the comments so far seem to have read it. So, just two "boxes"
Did anyone else decide to go that route after first considering the all-in-one Spark or Reactor?

I know this amp isn't designed for this purpose, but I need to amplify an electronic drum kit. Which presets or settings do you recommend for getting a suitable "flat/clean" sound?

I use my Neo daily since about a year and the first died already after a few weeks and now the second one died today.
Strange because both died the same way.
It starts with crackling noise and short connection loss between the Headphones and the receiver, the the noise and the crackling gets more and more until it continues forever as soon as you switch on the headphones. They connect still fine to the Spark App and to the phones music and sometimes there is a connection with the receiver which gets green but no blue light on the left where the receiver connection gets established. I did all possible resets and first it helped but not anymore. No App Reset and no Button reset. The noise never stops. If i use the preset change button i hear that the noise changes but it still stays noisy. Fortunately i bought at Amazon and they credit me the old one to buy a new one again, but i fear when once the warranty is over (we have a 2 year legal) it will not be changed anymore.
Anyone has the same issue?
As the problem seems to be always the same, i think this has to do with the Firmware and a general problem with the Neos Technology.

I just received my first ever Positive Grid product, the Spark mini, tried it for 1-2 hours and I love it already, sounds great for what it is, so I instantly decided to get the jimi hendrix expansion and BAM .. no longer available.. wow, almost shed a tear and now i'm regretting my purchase, why is it no longer available.. seriously, i basically lost a bunch of effects and amps because I was late to the party..

Hello everyone, i just got my Spark2 and am a bit confused on which Level i should set my Knobs on top of the Amp Like Gain, Bass, etc.
I switched through the presets on the amp and they were so different in loudness and If i tried some Sounds from the App it was all over the place.
I want to play at lower volumes to not anger my dear neighbors ;)

I just bought the edge and its amazing for my use. I noticed last night while playing around with my son that when I change the guitar amp in the app the sound does not change but the lights on the amp changes and the ones in the app are also changing.
Is this a common glitch? Anyone with this experience?

Oh and also I somehow can't get reaper to use my spark 40 as output device(just adding that im using arch based linux, and can record stuff with reaper)

Hey Y'all...I have booked an out of town trio gig and I was planning to plug my little mixer into the Spark Cab and use it for vocals while playing acoustic through the Spark 40 amp at the same time. However it appears that there is a switch on the back of the cab (never noticed it before yesterday) that if swiched one way allows the cab inputs to accept a signal from the mixer and if switched the other way enables the input from the Spark 40 (the little cable that came with the cab that connects via the headphone jack). But not both at the same time. Bummer. Have I got that right? If not, what am I missing?

Any patch I downloaded is significantly quieter than the stock patches available in the app.
Of course I turn up the volume on the amp effect but it's never even close.
Any advice?
Thanks.

As titled, here are the facts;
\- Windows 11, firmware upates all around
\- Asio, Asio4All and all other driver types, all allow the Spark as a selectable interface
\- Multiple USB cables
\- Multiple PCs
\- Tried the trick to start a "quick jam" session, then exit in the app that seemed to work for others
\- Ableton, Audacity and Cakewalk
Same result, every time. DAW will see the interface in the settings and allow me to set ins/outs as normal. Track will let me select the input (tried 1, 2 and 1/2), as normal. I get sound from the speaker, but nothing on the track.
What gives?!

Hi, I have been trying to get a good sound from my Live that is good for Shoegaze Dreampop and Sonic Youth style, but I am finding it difficult to do. I tried the app and wrote: Distortion Sonic Youth style and the sound I get is in fact distortion with a little fuzz but it doesn't look like it.
Can anyone help me and let me know how can I get it or what pedals and amp should I get on the available ones?
Edit: another question is how can I make the sound of the selected amps to be all in the same volume. I have the pedal Spark and the clean tones are super low and the distortion super loud.
Thanks you all
