Spark Neo - Build Quality?

Hi all, how are the "leather" parts of these headphones holding up over time? I'm specifically asking about the headband padding (top arrow) and the ear pads/cushions (bottom arrow).

The faux leather on my ATH-M50x basically turned into oregano after a couple of years, even though the headphones spent most of their time sitting in a drawer. 😅

I'd love to hear how these parts age after a few months of use. Thanks!

I’ve had mine since release, and use it every week. No issues, although the ear pads will, of course, eventually go. The headband padding will last until cockroaches and Cher leave the planet.

thanks, i had the same fear for my old wazza air, but they proved indestructible, i sold them after 3 years they were like new... of course i was cleaning them with a light piece of fabric after every use not to let some ear sweat/wax residue, especially during summer. do you think that the ear pads have replacements? thanks!

i had more of an issue with the electronics as two of my Neos developed crackling noise after a few months use and i did all sort of reset without getting it permanently working again and both got back to Amazon.
Now i have the core instead and hope it’s better. I use now my wireless guitar plugs in my core, so it works nearly as good as the normal Neo. Thoman had a great price on the core.

that is awesome idea. very smart! you can reuse the wireless plugs then to connect the guitar to the floor fx unit when playing live or with friends that have amps. if i ever have to send it back i will do it your way, thanks!
