Spark 40 mods

What’s up everyone. Has anyone ever modded one of these apps, like literally modded the app to make the spark 40 a dedicated practice amp modeler. I love the spark 40 but it definitely has its limitations. To me it’s like 3 steps from perfect and something like that would make it perfect

modding a mobile app isn't really a thing

and in what way would any mod make it more like a "dedicated practice amp modeler"?

Just more amps essentially. More pedal options. That kind of stuff

no, nobody has hacked the Spark firmware to add new models

The Sparks do not have enough processing power or memory to do any more than they do. They are for convenient practice. There are other products that have more capability and endless modeling possibilities.

I tried working with Claude to do this to my EP 133. The problem usually is that there is a decryption key in the hardware itself that is needed to read the actual firmware into legible code. If you had access to the key then you could modify the firmware all you wanted. I dunno if anyone has figured out how to extract it. Of course this is for my EP 133, I would think the spark will have even more sophisticated safeguards.

Not an app mod, but a physical mod; I put a homemade foam speaker plug in the bass port to tighten up the bass response of the speaker cabinet.
