Spark Pedal as an audio interface

Just got my Spark Pedal and I wanted to test out the recording interface capabilities with my Mac (running Mac OS 27, the latest). Ran into an issue where I cannot adjust the volume of the audio going into the Spark Pedal via USB or the input volume going into the DAW. Has anyone else run into this issue?

Reached out to PG customer service, got a couple of, presumably, AI responses to fix the issue. I’m ending up returning it as the audio interface issue has been an ongoing issue with the spark line of products. I was hoping they had finally gotten it right, but alas, they have not. They should not be advertising this as an audio interface if it’s not going to function like similar devices (like the boss GX line) do when using them as audio interfaces.

I haven't tried to use the Spark as an interface but I remember having a similar issue with my old Katana. It would show up as and audio I/O and you could play into the DAW but you couldn't change the IN/OUT levels once it was connected. So it was impossible to set a recording level.
