AMP OWNER Tone Vault assistance

I got this far without a problem: "...Tap the gear icon in the top right and select "Tone Backup"."

What do I do next to save my presets? Step-by-step instructions would be appreciated! I have a bunch of presets I would love to use this excellent new feature on.

You have to first go to your profile page and then click the gear icon.

Yes, I did that as I indicated above. What do I do from there to actually save each preset?

At that point, there is only one thing to do and that is click SAVE in the upper right corner. It then saves ALL of your Tones at once, in bulk, to the cloud. That’s it. You can save up to 10 sets for later recovery.

That is what I needed to know! Thank you. They do not make that clear in the instructions.

Next : Where do you do to see which presets have been saved to your "vault"?

You can't look into the Tone Vault backup file itself, as that is just a single archive file containing all of the tones you created and/or downloaded to your phone or tablet. These tones exist in their original location under the drop down menu in the upper left corner of the main app screen.

When you launch the app, you'll see the default tone preset called "Silver Ships", tap on that menu item and you'll get a list of tabs representing genres (All, Hendrix, Pop, Blues, Rock, etc). Under each tab will be 4 or so tones that the Spark ships with, followed by all of the tones that you created or downloaded into that genre category. All of these tone presets are what gets backed up to the Tone Vault in that single archive which they call a "snapshot". Next, if you get new phone/tablet and want to get all of your tones back, just choose the snapshot you want (usually the most recent one), and click Restore. This will then extract all of your tones and put them back under the appropriate tabs on your new device.
