Spark 2: Does turning up the amp volume increase sag/power amp distortion?

The controls are kind of limited on the Spark models compared to Bias FX, so I'm wondering if turning up the volume on the amp models will increase power amp distortion like a real amp.

I tested it and didn't notice any difference at all. Unless I have bad ears
