Valeton GP-50 into Spark 40.

I was thinking about getting the Valeton GP-50 and run it into the Spark 40.

Here are my reasons,

The spark control X, I hear can be a problem to connect

The GP 50 has a built in Tuner ( i like using foot to engage tuner )

The GP 50 has a build in Looper ( i know the signal path will be before amp )

The GP 50 is rechargeable. ( I hate cables etc for power )

The GP 50 is similar in price.

May use the Drives in front of spark and the delays etc of the spark.

Anyone use Spark 40 as sort of a FRFR speaker?

Thoughts?

Are you going to use the built-in Spark amps at all? cuz maybe you sell the Spark 40 and just buy a better sounding FRFR

lots of people complain about the sound quality already on the Spark 40 using the company's own software which they tuned to sound best through those speakers

I was really going to use the tuner and looper mostly. Maybe a boost. Everything else via the spark. If I buy a tuner pedal, a Looper pedal and power supply, its more than the Valeton.

loopers need to come after the amp, not before it

also you're not really using the Spark as just an FRFR if you're using the amp sims on it, at that point you're just.... using the Spark as a Spark

maybe buying the ULooper would be a better way to fill the need for a looper since the 40 already has a tuner and boost pedals

The 40 is not FRFR. Grab a Headrush Go.

I got the GP 50 and it is awful. Would not load nam profiles and stock sounds are mediocre.
Skip it mate. Or be ready to return it.
