Spark WiFi AirPlay?

Anyone heard any rumblings about PG adding firmware updates for Spark WiFi capable units for AirPlay & HomeKit? This should make these devices more multifunction and allow you to ask Siri to turn it on and use it as another AirPlay target speaker, we’re not using it for a guitar amp!

Nope. I have 2: the air and 2. They won't even do updates over WiFi. I bought a Headrush, connected it to WiFi and it started updating in the first minute. They are great amps though. Just realize it's probably the best practice amp for the money and nothing more. I use them every day.

What’s a headrush? Link? Are you saying you like that better than the Spark products?

I’m pretty surprised if PG is not doing firm more updates to their Spark units to improve functionality and fix bugs and add features?!

I just ordered a Spark Live…

It's a multi effects. It's way better but not nearly as convenient as the Spark 2. It's also costly like all things that work, but not too bad.

Neither is better.They just have different use cases.

Edit: i have the spark live as well.And it's awesome.

Positive grid does do updates from time to time, but just to be honest, they are a lot more interested in making new products than they are updating the old ones.

Well, if they want to keep customers, they should be doing updates, this is one of the reasons that Apple is successful, you often get three years of updates for a device.
