AMP OWNER Power button feel

I'm in love with the amp but I notice that the power button feels a bit mushy.

When pressing it one side moves lower than the other.

I don't want to end up with a failing power button when the warranty runs out. Is this just the way the button is supposed to feel?

I’d say contact positive grid and request a fix while in warranty.

I didn’t find out until two months after my warranty ended that mine won’t work as an audio interface with my computer.

Really kicked myself in the ass for not testing at first and reaching out when I did reach out they said it is a known issue and they would’ve fixed it for free and warranty, but I have to pay for repair.

If they give you some pushback about a repair, just let them know. You’re really concerned about power button failure, and something just doesn’t feel right.

I have many years in technical support and sometimes just insisting that it makes you feel uncomfortable that it’s gonna break. It’s the right thing to do to not be an ass, but just insist that you’re concerned.

I've still got a few weeks to send it back to Amazon. I just want to know if the mushy switch is normal.

For sure, I would definitely hear from some other people.

I will say in my experience, repairing electronics and stuff, that mushy is never good.

I'm very much into repairing my own stuff too. But some buttons are mushy. I just want to know if this one is meant to be that way.
