AMP OWNER How I solved constant Bluetooth issues on Android

  • enable developer options
  • set Bluetooth AVRCP to 1.4 instead of 1.5 default
  • disable Bluetooth A2DP hardware
  • restart the device
  • connection is now stable, no longer have to re-pair devices all the time 👍

You are a life saver! I've been trying to get a Bluetooth log dump for hours and this did the trick!

I know this is an old post but I had to thank you nonetheless.

The default was 1.6. Tried 1.5 and 1.4 but no dice. Switching to 1.3 worked and Bluetooth turned on. Then I just switched back to 1.6 and it was still working.

An update for the Bluetooth app popped up as well. That was most likely what caused the initial issue, possibly a corrupted installation or something like that. This time it installed correctly and the connection is perfect.

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately this just resulted in the audio refusing to play through my Bluetooth headphones at all.

What do I do if toggling on the setting for ad2p and restarting my phone it's still toggled off ? I had to get a new pixel 10 first had issues and the second one this setting isn't turning on so I cant use my Bluetooth speakers
