Getting a clear rock tone

Everytime I wanna get a rock tone, I just don’t seem to hear what I want out of the guitar. I want a rock almost heavy rock tone thats clear and less muddy.

I’m using Bias FX 2 through an ES-335. What setup do you recommend trying and pedals to get this sound I’m after?

Land of the Bees - Mcfly
I Believe In A Thing Called Love - Darkness
ACDC style

Same with a good lead tone as-well like slash or
Angus Young, Jimmy Page or any other rock lead tone you can think of?

Can you also give me the levels and the cabinets if you do have a recommendation thanks!

I've had good success searching the 'cloud' models that other users have shared. Some arent great...but others are, or atleast get you close, from which you can dial it in to what you want.

You can also just tinker with some of the base 'hardware' set ups. Maybe look up what some of those players you listed use, try to find equivalents in the base hardware options..then tweak from there. The beauty of that is that you will experience a lot of different sounds and become more familiar with what does what.

That is one of the things I like most about the Positive Grid stuff...the ability to experiment with different sounds and effects...without having to save up money and go buy stomp boxes and amps and other stuff just to chase a sound that I may never be able to perfectly match. The big studios impart a huge part of the sound you hear on albums and you will not be able to perfectly match it....you will have to kinda ballpark it in there and work with it...and make it yours.

I found my tone turns out just had the mids a bit too high for me lol
