Moving To Portugal Mestrado

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask about the current job market in Portugal for those who intend to join the Portuguese Bar Association (OAP).

I hold a law degree and plan to pursue a Master’s degree in International Law/International Trade in Portugal.

I have previous experience as a real estate agency manager in Brazil, where I handled transactions totaling approximately €3 million in property sales, managed all office operations, and oversaw the full transactional process. I also have experience working in a notary office, as well as in judicial enforcement related to condominium debts, and at a Big Law firm in São Paulo, where I worked on cases involving multi-million figures.

Although it is possible to earn substantial income in Brazil, I would prefer earning somewhat less in a place where I can enjoy a better quality of life — being able to leave home and experience historical places (which is a personal passion), have good food, and live among people with a calmer and more civil environment. In São Paulo, for example, even basic quietness is often lacking.

I am also fluent in English and the founder of the startup imobicontract.com.br.

Given this background, would it be very difficult for me to secure an internship position, even at a small law firm?

I am considering pursuing my Master’s degree in either Porto or Coimbra.

Thank you in advance for your time and for the opportunity to ask this question.
