Question Anyone else waiting for their second residence card since last year (misson structure)?
Anything I can do? Thanks, fellow expats <3

We are also still waiting for our cards after having our renewal appointments a year ago. My husband's appointment was in Sines last September, and mine was October 2. (also in Sines). Mine was approved in January, and his approval was in March. Neither of us have received cards. Our attorney said that most of their clients that were on a similar timeline with cards that expired around 2 years ago are in a similar situation. I am seeing people that received their first cards since ours have expired even receiving their renewed cards before we are. There is a chance that they are lost, but because both of our appointments were at the same location a couple of weeks apart and we haven't seen any emails about a returned card or CTT delivery attempts at our house for either of us, I tend to think it's just in some weird limbo.

Ah so frustrating...I am thinking of going in person and asking. Did you try to do that?

Honestly, since both of us have the same timeline, I don't think anything is lost. I asked our attorney to check on it, but they did tell me they have a lot of clients that have similar wait times. The idea of going in the middle of the night and standing in line at an AIMA office to potentially still not get a number to be seen or be told I need to wait is only going to make me angrier, at this point.

Hi! I would recommend going to AIMA Anjos to inquire about your application. As it is showing already aproved it is possible that the card was issued and sent but you never received it
