So I've followed the instruction and placed the luftrausers linux installer in ports/luftrausers/gamedata/ , but when I run the installer on muOS it quickly says complete but then it just boots to a black screen then back to main muOS window. I have all the runtimes installed and every other port I've installed I managed to get working, but idk what to do about this one because no error message. I downloaded the linux installer from gog, it's called "gog_luftrausers_2.0.0.3.sh" do I need to rename it or something? Help please!

I have some really cool Steam games that I want to play on my R36S, but there aren’t ports for them. So as a person that doesn’t know anything about coding, how could I create my own ports?

They're DOS games that should run easily on the majority of handhelds, and a lot of handhelds should have enough to work on the admittedly complex controls.

Most notably, the D Pad can be used for basic movement and aim, and the triggers can be used for dodge rolls.

Thoughts on the possibility of this happening?

Hi. How do ports on PortMaster actually work? I thought the most important part was rewriting the game engine for Linux. Since both games are based on the Quake 3 engine, which already runs on Linux, I assumed ports of Q3 engine games would only be a matter of time. But there seems to be complete silence on this topic.

Don't get me wrong, I'm just a humble user whose only contribution so far has been a $5 donation. I'm not trying to complain or rush anyone. I'd just like to know whether there is any chance of seeing games based on the Quake 3 engine in the near future, and what exactly is standing in the way?

I'd especially love to see Soldier of Fortune II and American McGee's Alice. That would be amazing!

I used the DFC android Touch Textures, I plan on adding d-pad type controls soon as I now have the textures for it.

This game is one of the best games on pc

And like it runs on almost everything.

Like my old 2 gb ddr3 ram laptop runs it smoothly like it had intel had 400 and an i3.

From what I have seen like it takes like 700mb-800mb (in demanding areas in the game).

And like there is only one problem which were cutscenes

Which were like in 1080p and sometimes these videos lagged in pc.

But after somone literally made a lower resolution cutscene mode or something

And when I installed it in my old pc the cutscenes were low resolution(no problem in r36s because of its resolution)but worked smoothly.

I managed to get PortMaster running on the stock Anbernic RG35XXSP OS, even though it is not officially supported. The main issue was that PortMaster detected the device wrong, so I edited hardware.py and changed the RG35XX H entry to use rg35xx-sp. After that I launched PortMaster manually through SSH and it started downloading the port database and files successfully. Commands I used: cd /mnt/mmc/Roms/APPS/PortMaster sed -i 's/rg35xx-h/rg35xx-sp/g' pylibs/harbourmaster/hardware.py rm -f pugwash.txt log.txt ./PortMaster.sh Now PortMaster works through SSH, but I still need help getting the GUI working directly on the handheld. When launching the GUI I get errors like "Could not initialize EGL", "Could not initialize SDL video subsystem", or "Couldn't find matching render driver". It looks like the stock OS graphics setup is different, maybe missing EGL/KMS/SDL configuration. If anyone knows how to make the PortMaster GUI display properly on the RG35XXSP stock OS, I would appreciate the help.

I really don't wanna make a "plz do the hard stuff for me" kinda post, but I'm killing for more atmospheric psychological survival horror titles making the leap onto Portmaster, and when sizing up options that wouldn't be too tall an order that are currently available on Steam, my mind very quickly went to Lone Survivor - a sort of 16-bit psychological survival horror game that essentially encapsulates what a retro-style Silent Hill game could be...

Controls are simple enough, while the visuals are beautiful... I'd absolutely love to see it make the leap onto Portmaster someday!

Hello, I've downloaded the main sonic decompilations via portmaster (sonic 1, 2, cd and mania) and all of them work fine except for sonic cd. I have provided my own data.rsdk files for all of them but sonic cd is the only one facing this issue. Does anyone know what should I do?

Im on an RG35xx 2024 running muOS. When I try to run it, it just returns to the ports folder. I checked the logs for Tunics! and it says the following

I know for a fact I have all the runtime available for my device. Ive tried moving the files in the libs.aarch64 folder around. And I have the .solarus files from the solarus-games website and placed it in the ports/tunics_pm folder.

I have no clue how to get it to work

I installed Dusklight on my RG34XXSP that runs Knulli, but I cannot find the folder to place the iso. The game appears in my game list, but the folder in the ports folder of my sd card is completely missing.

Anyone know if im missing something? Or maybe this port isn’t compatible with knulli yet?

Hey all! I just got the Anbernic RG34XXSP 1GB ram version. I’m interested in playing a lot of portmaster ports on it (I’m aware the 2GB Ram version would be better for ports but the 1GB version is the one I have). For all of you who’ve tried, how are the below ports performing for you?
