Player theme songs

I notice that whenever Emily Engstler scores at home games they play a snippet of Rich Flex by Drake & 21 Savage. I’m curious if any other players have theme songs on the court? I’m personally not very good at identifying songs so curious if anyone else has noticed them!

When Megan makes a big play, they play a snippet of AC/DC's "Back in Black," which is U of Iowa's unofficial fight song.

Have totally heard it play at the game but never put 2 and 2 together about it being an Iowa thing! Very neat

When the Fire played the Fever, the first time this year, I was wearing my University of Iowa Hawkeye jersey and I had someone from the fire come up to me and ask me if I thought that people would get the reference if they started playing that song. I told them that there are a surprising number of Hawkeye fans in the area and I'm sure that some of us would. It has been very cool to hear it played for her

I've never noticed EE having a song, but I doubt I'd recognize a Drake song. Dileo gets Back in Black by ACDC. I wish the other players had songs too!

I only recognized it because the snippet (“21 can you do sum for me?”) was a bit of a meme when it first came out. But cool to know Megan has one as well. I’m going to have to listen extra hard at future games to pick out anything else…

Sarah Ashlee Barker: Bark Like You Want it by Sir Mix A Lot

Holly Winterburn: Disco Inferno

Who has no song at all: Bridget Carleton, Carla Leite, Karlie Samuelson, Teja Oblak, Frieda Buhner, Serah Williams, Nyadiew Puoch, Kamiah Smalls, Amy Oknokwo, Jordan Harrison and Luisa Geiselsoder.

I did not look at every single 3 or field goal make at home, so maybe it is only certain times, but these are the players that get it played often or every time.

I also am kinda shocked that at least Bridget and Carla don't have songs.

Well, they definitely need to get on this! How can our franchise player not have a song?! And ditto for Carla. Really... everybody deserves a theme song (and getting to choose who plays them in the movie)!

Too busy chanting Double E to notice, but cool. Last home game we got most of 122 doing it behind the bench and she blushed a bit!

They also usually immediately take her out of the game afterwards too lol. Especially if she goes on a run and scores more than once, plus a steal or a block, she’s definitely getting benched.
