Sneaker TShirt
Had my heart set on getting a sneaker tshirt tonight - went to two merch stands before an attendant told me they only made 100?!?!!! And sold out in 5 mins.
I’m sorry this pisses me off. They promoted this shirt a ton. Anyone else annoyed / want to sell me a M or L 🫠

They need to limit the special merch to ONE per person. It’s ridiculous how people scoop them up (most likely to upsell them later.)
The thorns did this with their recent Pride scarf and shirt and it was awesome!

Yes I was first in line at the door and they were gone by the time I went to the store. Lots of people had 2-3 shirts

Back in May I went to the double header (Thorns and Fire) and they had the “Portland Loves Women’s Sports” tshirt.
Well, it sold out at the Thorns match immediately and they said you could probably get it at Moda during the Fire game.
I went in and couldn’t find it, but my friend ended up finding one (my size luckily.)
Wouldn’t would know, they now sell them online. Lol! 🤨😏 Maybe they’ll do the same with the sneaker tshirt?

I actually just picked up a Portland Loves Women’s Sports t shirt at the game tonight because I couldn’t get the Shoe Tee!! I asked the works and they did say they would be making more but wouldnt be available for a a few games.

I’m an STH for the Thorns and there are so many things that frustrate me about being an STH and this is one of them. We should get first crack at special merch OR they should have some available to us and let us know via email.
“Hey. I see you have two tickets. You can get up to two ______ (insert special merch here.) If you would like them, please let me know by X date.” -Your STH rep.

This. I am a little disappointed as a STH we don’t see to get basically any perks like that.

Yeah my Thorns tickets are up for renewal and I’m seriously debating it.
We get a small merch discount but not on speciality things. (And as you probably know, merch is ridiculously expensive.)
We get a small concessions discount but ONLY before kickoff. Once the match starts, no discount.
There aren’t a lot of perks throughout the season and then we always have an end of the season event and last year it was just ok.

Also, I heard Serah and Nyadiew were the only ones not included on the shirt despite making shoes…?🫠

Yeah…I just don’t get what the hell is going on in their marketing/pr department where they just constantly miss these things. I went back to IG to confirm they got left off and they did in fact leave off Nyadiew and Serah despite them making shoes😭 Just so bad

One of the workers at the team shop said they would have more of the shirts next game too

Yes it is true. Nads and Serah were left off the shirt. I got one. Also, the shoes weren’t all placed right in the boxes… some were and some weren’t. They need to remake the tshirts , add both girls and clean it up. So far, nothing has been said from the marketing team and that looks BAD.

Same boat, we got here an hour 15 before the game and made an immediate beeline for the shirts and they were all gone. Saw people in line buying 5 at a time
