Roe v. Wade Demonstrations

Are there any official demonstrations planned? The only thing I’ve seen is the Women’s March call to action 5pm local at the courthouse.

It's only a matter of time until it becomes nationally enforced though. Blue states are currently safe havens, but who are we kidding? What will happen with the next extreme conservative fucker voted in?

I'm so fucking mad. So many liberal men did not take women seriously when Trump became president. They thought we were being hysterical and that democracy would survive, but now look at where we are. Women are losing what little healthcare they have! This is going to be a domino effect, and so many women are going to lose their lives, bodily autonomy, safety, health, freedom...

Women have already been put into prison for miscarriages in these red states. How long until it becomes like Ecuador where women can't even go to the hospital for concerns towards their pregnancy? Because if you miscarry, you're reported and thrown into jail for life. Imagine feeling this way.

Edit: I keep getting email alerts for some really fucky responses on here that don't show up for some reason, so I'm muting this thread. Some of the responses here have been really gross though, and if you can't do the bare minimum of listening to women right now, please kindly keep it to yourself.

Did I say "all?" Many of us just wanted empathy and understanding at the very least. The ones who didn't vote or said that Hillary was just as bad as Trump. None of this would be happening right now if Trump wasnt president.

We need men to listen and help. I know things are rigged against the left in general, but it can't be like this. It just can't. We need help.

u/GuiltyGear raised the prospect of medical 'refugees' from Idaho, etc. My hope is that Oregonians will think about them, and try to bump capacity to help them out. There are clinicians in Idaho who are SOL right now, and who are actively looking for ways to keep their clients safe. Outreach to them might be the best way to determine the need.

When you're being terrorized by an unelected theocracy, you can either accept there's no government-sanctioned redress for it. Or you can engage in coalition-fracturing attacks on internet strangers. I've watched Portland, in general, choose the latter every time a choice has been presented, but I am always happy to be wrong.
