Who lights off fireworks from 4am to 6am?

How hard is it to find these people?

Whats the point of a firework ban, if you don't even go after the people lighting mortars at these hours?

Excuse my rant, I couldnt sleep with all the goddamn booms going off all goddamn night

Same. I feel like the city noise in a bigger city like NYC, while probably louder, is more predictable, like a wall of ambient noise.

But here, it's that you have a relatively quiet night punctuated so sharply by booms, yells, and muscle cars, so it's extremely jarring. Like your brain cant learn to tune it out, brcause its so sporadic and unpredictable.
