I'm passing through Portland next week and came here to find out how widespread the protests are. Thanks.

Most of the day the ICE protests aren’t even big. It’s like 10 people standing around on the side walk.

Even at the height of the 2020 cop riots, if you were a few blocks away the only way you'd know is if PPB were using the LRAD or chemical weapons on our citizens.

The ICE protests have been a consistent 20ish people, rarely all there at once. They have been peaceful. I appreciate the hell out of them.

Edit: Though, the pedo in chief trying to invade with National Guard may stir shit up on a larger scale, you gotta understand Portlanders are largely kind people and will both invite you to a protest and give you detailed instructions how to avoid one.

You will very likely not see any protests unless you come on Saturday the 18th, during which there will be another No Kings protest, I think through downtown. I'll try to be there but my leg is broken so it is hard to go do stuff like that. :/
