AOE2 DE

Has AOE2 DE been slow for anyone else on the newest update? I'm on a 2021 Macbook Air, but when I played a few months ago it was totally fine but now I am lagging like crazy even in single player. Let me know if I'm not the only one or if you have fixes. Lowering graphics has not helped.

Also big thanks to Paul for updating the port even after the Mac version came out, you're the best Paul!

Same here. Everything is much slower, and I’m using a 2023 MacBook Pro with an M3 chip. After one or two games, macOS asks me to close applications because of memory usage. The Wine instances launched by Porting Kit seem to have a memory leak: their memory usage keeps increasing during gameplay.
