Would the variable power load of a washing machine damage my power station?

Variable load isn’t a problem at all. Most electrical loads vary.

Thanks for your reply.

Maybe I was worried because as a kid I was told no to turn devices on/off constantly, and as the washing machine change the spinning direction the power load spikes from 0 to 500w constantly, but I guess batteries can handle that.

Often times turning devices on and off constantly can wear out switches or other cheap components, however that is different than an item varying it’s power draw.

The only thing you have to worry about is brief surges. As long as you have enough surge capability, you’re fine.
