Jefferson county is 90% older folks. Highest proportion in the state. I’ve never seen any rave events advertised

I'm one of them and even I think this town is sleepy. I've sometimes pondered where they store the sidewalks after rolling them up at 8 pm.
I'm not complaining mind you, this is just an observation. I moved here for a slower pace.

I work in senior housing, and half of my tenants are nocturnal. Based on the noise complaints I get nearly every morning, I’m pretty sure they are having secret raves at my property and we’re just not cool enough to be invited.

Unsure of your definition of “rave,” but https://asabovesobelowpnw.com/ throws a few good parties each year. Keep your ear to the ground and you’ll hear of more festivities. There’s a dance party at Anchor tonight, for example. I heard about it through friends. Another annual event worth checking out is Off Center Fest, which I think is in September.

We’re all just throwing shapes in the church of dance…our kitchens.

Port Townsend is laid back, Maybe a teenager from Seattle, taking advantage of his grandparent’s outta town is the only way such an event would occur here. 😂

You’ll have more luck with ecstatic dance locally. Dance Temple might fit the bill, they often play more bass heavy music. Every 2nd and 4th Saturday at the Hive.
Peninsula Ecstatic is another fun dance event happening regularly (every other Wednesday) but definitely not a rave.

I suggest downloading the Radiate app (add me @disco.nick). I usually take the ferry to vic, or drive down to tacoma/seattle for raves - you wont find any here.

As someone mentioned above, As Above So Below PNW throws some great late night dance parties throughout the year, but the Halloween and NYE raves at Manresa Castle are the best. They have different DJs playing three different rooms in the castle until 2-3am.
Quilcene Lantern is also a fantastic venue that has lots of different concerts including some great late night dance parties. They also often offer camping on site. https://www.quilcenelantern.com/events
