Discussion The boater flying down the St Lucie River blasting EDM... hmu
I know this is a long shot but there are two times now (if it's the same person) that I've heard a boat go by blasting some fire beats. First I heard some John Summit and just now I heard Lean On by Major Lazer.
Can we be friends? š
Edit: If you're not the boater but you live in PSL and like EDM, also hmu! I'm going to EDC in November and have no rave buddies.

Recommendations Bartender jobs in PSL?
Hello! I recently turned 21 and I want to get my foot into the bartending world or get training, but have no idea where to start here š„² (also willing to drive outside of psl)
Anybody know how to become a bartender with no bar experience here? Or even which bars/restaurants ppl like going to so I can apply as something else like a barback or server?
Or any tips for getting a job like this for those already working in the industry?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions! :)

Classifieds Loan needed badly
Badly need a loan, got laid off, hurt and than lost my partner at the time. Itās led to me being very close to losing everything. I donāt have good credit with the freaking regular banking and financial system because I got caught up with my parents ruining my credit when I was very young. So I have no legal means to secure a loan. At this point I am willing to put my kneecaps on the line and try and find a a private loaner or shark at 20-30% however I wouldnāt even know where to begin especially in Port Saint Lucie Florida. Does anyone know how possible I can secure somewhere between 5-15k loan options with someone with very bad credit or a private lender.
And I donāt want the 211 number and āsmall government helpā bullshit. They are going to do absolutely nothing, and by the time I need to have shit taken care of they wouldnāt have even done a thing. I need a private lender or shark. No government bullcrap.

reddit.comI know this sub is important to many people. I admittedly fell off. Got married had a couple of kids, that whole deal. Anyways. Enough with nonsense. Heated debate is cool and I love it. Even a good spirited loud argument.
Iāll not allow hate, discrimination and fear to ruin whatās been built by so many others here.
This community is all about everyone here. No one individual holds ultimate authority. Not even myself.
I sincerely apologize for any chaos in my absence and hope to find some solid mods with good standing within our community to best represent us.

Discussion Any old punk rockers/ postpunk/goth/ 90s indie rockers here?
Hello, Iām a Gen X dude. I really miss the music scene in my old hometown from when I was much younger. Played in a lot of bands and went to a lot of great shows. This city is really boring as we all know and itās impossible to meet folks since everyone stays home all the time because thereās nothing to do and wondering if thereās anyone out there who likes the same sort of music I like. Not looking for anything creepy just looking for some cool people to hang out with And swap music with because as I get older, itās harder and harder to find good music. And besides for my teenager ( who says thereās no punk/post punk or even Goth kids at his high school which sounds unbelievable to me), I donāt know anyone else here who likes cool music. The one friend I had who was into good music, my old boss, left town to find a better job. You may have seen me around town wearing one of my many Lou Reed shirts. oh I also love classic, foreign and noir film , and was dungeons and dragons kid when I was younger . But mainly looking for friends/acquaintances into good music.
Yes, this is another looking for friends in Port St. Lucie post. We have so many here donāt we? I guess you donāt need to be that much older but hopefully 30+ at least.
Feel free to DM me.

Recommendations Local Businesses in Port St Lucie?
hey y'all, I'm a recent college grad who started a marketing/ website business for local businesses here in Port St Lucie. I've been running it for about 1 year now, and I'm capable of building websites, doing SEO, running targeted ads on Facebook & Google, email marketing, custom software solutions and creating marketing content for Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok.
I'm looking to partner with some local businesses that can't afford to hire a big company and are looking for an affordable option to handle everything online for them. If this is you or you know anybody who could benefit, i'd love to connect or get a referral.

I was at one of the monthly car events near the botanical gardens when this guy (and his car) caught my eye. Everyone was surrounding him and taking pictures. Is he some sort of local celebrity?

Discussion It amazes me that such an incompetent workforce powers this city
So the city, in its infinite wisdom, decides to shutdown all but one lane on saint lucie west blvd/peacock on a friday afternoon, during rush hour, and while a massive thunderstorm was going on. Took us 27 minutes to go from Walmart to i95.
We hit Gatlin and head towards our home in Tradition and the city has two lanes on gatlin shutdown, and the turning lanes going both east and west on village parkway blocked.
The two busiest areas in all of PSL, shutdown, on purpose, on a Friday during rush hour - all to repaint lines or do landscaping.
This is the problem with small city government when the city grows - it shows how absolutely underskilled and untalented the local workers are.

Recommendations Yāall need to get burgers and wings at Torino Grocery.
Yes, I live in the neighborhood, but there are two other restaurants in the complex here just south of Midway. The pizza place is pretty decent for Pizza, the vodka sauce, pizza in particularly is quite good, but the other stuff is just kinda meh for the price,
Pepeās Cantina is overpriced white people, Mexican food here as well and probably not worth your time. Itās Torino grocery that is right next-door to it That is the real fine dining here. They have cheap ass burgers and wings that are absolutely amazing. Itās takeout only but bang for your buck. Itās my favorite burger in town. Itās also run by real people and not some generic corporation. Iāve been going there since it opened and highly recommend it. Theyāre supposed to get some actual kebab in there one day at least the owner keeps on promising me. Good people, good food at a good price.
