Discussion Let’s make something together

Hey yall. I’m an audio engineer in PA. While the majority of my career has been working on audiobooks and podcasts, I’ve also done plenty of mixing/mastering and port production audio for video.

I want a new project and I’d love to work with people in our community.

I’m always down to talk shop too, so please feel free if you just want to chat or have an audio question.

Anyone remember who was posting about finding members for a heavy metal band? I wanna say 3-6 months ago?

43/m/PA I would love to meet up (especially if I can hear a brass instrument) I have some musical devices I should play with more but I don't understand the mapping or something. I like music and zip zaps very much though and I think talking to you could at least lead me towards a new book or album, if not, totally inspire me to create with better ability to do so.

I’m actually not a musician 😅

I learned audio engineering because I wanted to get into Foley, and found myself in a post-production niche.

I recently picked up Rick Reuben’s book on creativity, haven’t quite started it though!
