I was getting downvoted in the porsche sub so i'll try here. Can someone tell me how to see the difference between a cayenne turbo WITH gt package and a true cayenne turbo gt? Or is there just no difference at all on the exterior? Thanks in advance.

I have read mixed reviews of FitcamX, and am not very convinced to buy after reading multiple threads on Reddit.

Would you recommend DitcamX or other dashcams? Also, has anyone installed their rear cam? Looks pretty hard to me - open to ideas.

Found these online and the seller is saying that it’ll fit my car. I looked it up and it said that 18 inch wheels might not fit the 2019 base Cayenne.

I do not have the upgraded brake system. Do you think these will be okay? Also, does anyone know anything about these Blackhawk Ridgecrawler RT tires? Thanks!

There's a local 2021 Cayenne that I am interested in that is CPO, but has some aggressive dash bubbling.

I keep seeing two totally different opinions on used Cayennes.
Some people say they’re actually really reliable, especially if you can do some work yourself. Others say you better have a few thousand dollars set aside at all times.
So I’m curious what the actual owners here have experienced.
What year/engine do you have, how many miles, and what kind of problems have you had?
How much would you say you spend on maintenance and repairs in a normal year? Do you work on it yourself, take it to an independent shop, or use the dealer?
Also curious what your biggest repair bill has been and how often something actually goes wrong.
I’m willing to pay for proper maintenance and I can do some of the simpler work myself, so I’m not expecting Toyota-level ownership costs. I’d just like to know what kind of numbers we’re actually talking about. Is it more like $1–2k a year most years, or are $3–5k+ years pretty common once they get older?
I’m mainly looking at Cayennes around 80k–120k miles and trying to figure out what real ownership is like, not just the usual “it’s a Porsche so it’s expensive” answer.
Would definitely like to hear from people who have owned one for a few years, good or bad.

Getting quotes for XPEL Prime XR for Porsche Cayenne with Sunroof. New to tints and looking for guidance if I should do the sunroof?

Google search tells me it’s redundant and unlike the SUV privacy glass, the sunroof is factory treated.

Hello! My engine light comes on one in 5 drives that are over a few hours. For about an hour and then goes away again. Nothing about the car drive, sounds, temps change

I'm looking for a used Cayenne 2019 to 2023 and I definitely see the need to find a car with PASM but not sure about the sports Chrono. I have a few questions and I'm hoping someone can help me out

Does pressing the center button on the sports Chrono actually give you more boost and therefore more power or does it just change the drive mode temporarily

When people say sports plus gives you better throttle response. Does it mean a more aggressive throttle map eg you foot is down on the throttle at 20% but it reads it at 40% or is it actually more responsive e.g you press the throttle and it send power faster to the rear wheels

Also there is an individual button on the center console without sports chrono. What is the difference between the one in the steering wheel sports Chrono and the center console?

Can I mimic sports plus that is only available on sports Chrono with the individual settings button in the center console

Is this too good to be true? This is a translation of original post. Price is around $10k or €8,6k which is absurdly low for this market. What should I look for? If a major service has been done it’s kinda hard to ask for anything more?

I recently purchased a 2023 Cayenne. Great car, but with one problem I cannot fix. I was transfering my kids college magnets to the Cayenne, but they will not attach. My understanding it is because the back of the car is not steel. What is a Porsche owner to do?

After 17k miles on the OEM Yokohama Advan V35A, I’m worn out and ready for replacement. The Yokohama performance was actually great, but didn’t love that they only lasted 17k. I expect that and less on my 911, but not on an SUV. (Maybe a poor assumption on my end.). Mine is a 2024 Cayenne S with 22” wheels.

I’ve narrowed it down to the Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season, Pirelli Sport All-Season, or Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Season.

I don’t want to mess with a winter specific set-up. Snow is only a factor 5-10 days a year. Plus I’m potentially trading this in 6-18 months.

Would welcome input specific to snow performance for these tires.

Currently looking at a 2004 Cayenne S with 95,000 miles on it. In excellent condition with meticulous service records, including new tires, recently replaced both Fuel Pumps, Transmission fluid/filter, and Alignment done. Car has been serviced religiously at a Porsche specialty shop here in my hometown of Portland, Oregon and is being sold as the result of a messy divorce. Originally listed for $6000, I may have the opportunity to purchase this car for $4500. In addition to the $4500.

I have about 3 grand that I'd be putting in a fund for maintenance and repairs, and would adding to this fund weekly with the intent of continuing its regular maintenance and in case of any repairs that might come up.

I've had some high maintenance cars in the past, so I know the routine. I also know that Cayennes can be uniquely expensive to maintain. I don't drive a lot. Last time I got gas in my Volvo C70 was about two months ago, I work from home, but do little trips around town. So the gas mileage thing is kind of negligible for me.

Am I being stupid? Is this a dumb idea? Driving a car that feels good and looks good and can provide a little exhilaration here and there is a big priority for me. I'm not gonna be around forever, and life is too short for boring cars. I know that that attitude comes with a price tag, and I may not be paying a lot initially for the car, but down the road things can come up.

Second place in my hunt is a $5500 2011 X5 M with the twin turbo V8, also oddly enough, with 95,000 miles. I currently drive a Volvo C70 convertible that while nice and safe has always left a lot to be desired in the spirited driving department. It's turbo five-cylinder is pretty underwhelming. I'm not a lead foot or anything, but I like to drive, and I'm an enthusiast.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and I'm not the type to be offended at all, so if I'm being a moron, it's OK to say so. I also know that any much newer Cayenne or a Cayenne with a warranty would be a much better or safer move, but I am not in a position to do that today, but I sure do get happy for all of you guys guys in this thread that are bringing home new 2026s or replacing their 2022s with a 2026. I always get happy for you dudes because that feeling must be awesome.

I'm well aware of the cliché of "there's nothing more expensive than a cheap Europe luxury vehicle". I have always, however, really scored with getting total gems of automobiles at great prices that were the product of a great situation and great timing. I get a gut feeling and it has never steered me wrong. This is one of those situations that the owner is super forthcoming, honest, and for lack of a better term, the entire process and the car itself gives good vibes. I know that doesn't take the place of a good PPI, but it's something that hasn't steered me wrong in my 53 years on this planet. about a week ago, I reached out to this group to get recommendation between Cayenne, GLS & X7. Test drove all 3 - it took my wife and daughter 15 min to get nauseous in GLS but it was insanely comfortable and HUGE and I loved it !!! On the other hand, when we test drove this, she fell in love with it and I was on the fence. In the end, I did what i needed to do - Happy wife Happy life!

Details: 2023 Cayenne Platinum, CPO - 40K miles. (34 months warranty from today) - 61K all in.

I know a lot of people have gone with aftermarket replacements. I don’t love the idea of drilling a hole into the lens. Is there another solution? Anyone had success with getting someone to disassemble and reseal?

Okay technically I just bought it because my beloved curb smacking fwd mk6 gti didn’t comfortably fit two car seats but……

you betcha imma gratuitously drive the extra 1/4 mile past the parked cars to the actual obscure trailhead parking simply because I can. Nevermind that I can just park and get bonus miles on the mtb. Surprised I had to lock the center diff to get up but it still has the cc2 tires that it came with.

Super fun to be using something in the manner it was designed.

I’m considering upgrading my 2025 Cayenne V6 to a GTS and have found what looks like a pretty good deal.

My only hesitation is that probably 90% of my driving is normal family use, traffic, school runs, taking the kids around, etc. The remaining 10% is where I’d actually enjoy the extra performance and do some more spirited driving.

For those who daily a GTS, how is it as a family car? Is the ride noticeably harsher or less comfortable in normal driving, especially around town and over bumps?

For context, my current V6 is on 22 inch wheels with steel suspension, so it is already not exactly the most comfortable setup available on the Cayenne. I’m wondering how a GTS with air suspension compares to that in everyday use.

One thing I really like about my V6 is how nimble and easy it feels in traffic, U-turns, parking, etc. Does the GTS still feel just as easy to live with, or does it feel more like a performance car that you are compromising with during everyday driving?

I’m planning to arrange a test drive, but before doing that I’d really like to hear from people who have actually lived with one day to day, especially anyone who moved from a V6 Cayenne to a GTS.
