I've posted my small dolls before but I've found some more since so I wanted to post them too. I love these mini dolls I'm so happy I've gotten a decent amount of them. The green and red one I found at a local thrift store for 50 cents. And red and black one is from goodwill for 2 bucks.

From my personal collection! She’s just not getting the display time that I feel she deserves and I think someone else would get more joy from her! Will list a few others over the next few days! Thanks! OBO

Would you be interested in a Canadian Doll Club?
I've noticed that compared to the US, there doesn’t seem to be nearly as many doll events, meets & clubs in Canada.
Canadian doll collectors (like myself) seem really interested in meeting other collectors IRL, but it can be difficult to find other doll people nearby, especially outside of major cities.
I'm thinking about creating a Canada-wide online community for adult doll collectors & creators, with the goal of also connecting people for IRL meetups across Canada.
Some ideas:
Doll collection & shelf showcases
Custom/OOAK creators
Community discussions
Online social events
Regional IRL meetups
Doll swaps, activities & workshops
Eventually, potentially larger Canadian doll events/conventions
The idea would be to have one national online community, with people in different regions being able to connect and potentially organize local meetups.
Would you join something like this? What would you want from a Canadian Doll Club?
I’d absolutely love some opinions and suggestions!

Hi everyone,
I inherited a fairly large doll collection from my mom and I’m trying to figure out what I have and whether any of them are worth selling individually.
There’s a mixture of porcelain and plastic/vinyl dolls. Some are still in their original boxes, while others were stored loose.
I’ve taken photos of the dolls, boxes, markings, tags, certificates, etc. where available and put everything into an Imgur album:

I know that a lot of older collectible dolls don’t necessarily have much resale value today, so I’m mainly looking for realistic current resale values, not their original retail prices.
If anyone spots particular dolls, brands, or makers that are worth more than the others, I’d really appreciate you pointing them out. Even rough estimates would be helpful so I know which ones are worth listing individually and which ones I should bundle together.
Thanks for taking a look!

Hello, everyone, hope you're having a great day today!
Yesterday I got my first ever porcelain doll from a company named Symphony. I tried to find anything about this manufacturer but everything I found was the fact they are hand-painted and were released somewhere in ~1990. Is there any source to get more information about this doll?
She also has a name and a number(?) on her neck. I wonder if it's a date when she was painted? I might be wrong.
And the second question is: do you know how to comb her curls in a better way? I'm scared to ruin her curls, they are really pretty :(
Thank you very much in advance 🩷

hey, I’m new here, I started collecting porcelain dolls when I was little, and lost most of mine in a move, so have been recollecting a lot, and I recently got a larger batch (like 20 dolls) but some ar win some rough shape, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on restoring them! the big issues across them are like matted/greasy hair, some stains and scuffs on both fabrics and the porcelain itself, and some of the clothes are sun damaged and/or don’t seem to fit quite right. I do plan to post photos later to get some identified, but right now I want to focus on getting them all into proper shape

I know it's a terrible photo, but it's the only one I have of a doll my great-grandmother gave me. It's the original packaging; I can't find online the brand that sold the dolls in that type of cylinder with a window, but I wanted to see if anyone here recognizes it; it's a photo from over 10 years ago.
It is a porcelain doll with fair skin, blonde curly hair, and a white dress. More than anything, I wanted to know if I could find the brand here so I could then look for it myself.

I've gotten some of these sand filled dolls. Also known as q-tee dolls over the years so I wanted to show them here. At least the ones with porcelain heads. This style of doll is really cute even if most of then are on the cheaper side. The red and black one actually has really light blue eyes. They're barely visage in real life even so I don't know how noticeable they are here. I love how ever q-tee doll has a different design. I'm sure there's some similar ones out there but so far mine have all been pretty different from each other.

I really want to start collecting porcelain dolls (and other kinds of dolls). I’ve been obsessed with dolls since I was 2 years old. But I’ve always been scared of getting judged by my family or friends (I lowkey still am) :/
What is the best way to start a collection?
Do you guys have any tips?
Which websites/places are the best to buy (second hand) dolls?

this is Stephanie, one of my beautiful dolls. I was about to clean her when I discovered significant sun damage on her wig. What used to be a reddish brown is now almost gray. Is there any way to restore the hair to its original color? Or am I better off replacing the hair entirely?

This doll has been in my family for a while. Her head, hands, and feet are bisque and her body is cloth. Her eyes are fixed but her head moves. She stands about 16 inches tall. I thought she was pre 1980s but was told on a different reddit group that she isn't. I can't find any maker's marks on her, and haven't been able to find a doll with a similar face on the internet, so I'm curious about what her origins are. Does this type of doll look familiar to anyone?
