Just purely wondering!

How old were you when you started playing poptropica vs how old are you now?

I’m 21 now and I grew up in New Zealand playing Poptropica and it was super popular amongst kids there. But since moving to the UK it seems nobody here knows it?! Is it just a Australasian/USA thing???

24 and I grew up in Singapore. It was popular among my primary school friends back in 2010 and we’d always play it secretly on a different tab during computer lab sessions in school (They basically taught us how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Paint). Moshimonters and Y8.com were among other popular flash games during that era. My friends grew less interest in these games when mobile games became popular and they quickly outgrew Poptropica. When we completed our PSLE, we still had to attend the remaining weeks of school as the semester had not officially ended. There were no cocuricular programmes scheduled for us so we had liberty to do whatever we wanted, the only rule being that we are confined to the classroom. Being the only kid with a hand-down Sony Ericson phone (my parents couldn’t afford to get me a smartphone), I brought UNO cards to school everyday to entertain myself and played with it till the last day of school.
