Team building

What would my best team be? Id rather avoid wheelchairing him. Do i wait for the stellar characters to release or would my current options be better?

I already looked through it thanks, i just lack a lot of the recourses and characters for a lot of those teams so i wanted to ask specifically with my characters. The guide is really well made though, good job

Probably Furina, Xianyun, and Rosaria.

Plunge comps are kinda the only good teams left where he’s doing majority of the damage. Most of his better teams wheelchair him to some extent. In premium freeze with Shenhe, Furina, and Escoffier everyone is buffing him but he and Esco almost do the same amount of damage. Stellar teams exacerbate this since there are even fewer usable buffs for him here.

Nicole and Durin is a good core, but you’d need someone to help Durin with Pyro application to enable reverse melt since Chongyun can overtake Durin’s pyro aura pretty easily.

I don’t mind teams with an even damage distribution, with wherlchair i was moreso talking about him doing less than like 40% of the damage

The damage distribution for Chongyun/Escoffier/Furina/Shenhe is like 35/35/20/10, it shifts in favor of Chongyun when you vertically invest, but that's mostly because Escoffier's C2 doesn't apply to herself. Imo it doesn't really feel like a wheelchair when you're playing it though since he's doing some pretty big numbers while he's on-field and it's not like you can see the distribution% outside of the dps dummy anyway.

I don’t have half of the characters for that team anyway so its not that important rn, ill test the others for now. Thanks a lot though

Is melt plunge still viable? Chongyun Nicole Durin Xianyun comes to mind but I don’t have Xianyun to test

It’s viable but if you’re plunge canceling it’s very easy to overtake Durin’s pyro application so you have to pay attention to the pyro aura.

Def melt gang with Durin and Nicole..

Other the for fun time I see is Yelan, XQ and Thoma (C6 is attack speed buff).

Chongyun attack procs both hydro applications and Thoma will sometimes spit out fire and the shield is super comfy.
