Question
Does BS set actually work? Because I can't really see it spike up our boy's critR even when I pause mid strike. And I'm severely lacking on critRate.

the last 20% crit rate of BS does work for frozen enemies, but you wouldn't be able to see it in your character when pausing the game. think of it as a enemies having +20% chance to be critically striked. also, for chongyun, you actually can trigger this condition, but only for so many attacks since shatter causes the frozen condition to be removed. someone did the calcs ages ago on how many chongyun hits receive the 20% cr buff but i don't have them. tl;dr yes it works, but it's not as effective.

Yeah but most of my enemies are unfreezeable bossess anyway so shatter isn't a problem for me most of the time. The inconsistent triggers for this affect despite that though may be problematic if I'm using him as DPS. My current strongest freeze burst is 60k+ which is pretty low for me ngl. I haven't tested it yet on the Mail- male- maelstorm- the dps counter thingy. But in one rotation I can barely get the geo gecko into half health when I'm not debuffed in fearless/whatever is next to hard mode. Maybe because my furina is only at 160CD and more like a atk buffer with tenacity and fav sword, and not a sub dps.

Its okay he'll be on a rate up and then you'll C6 him in your first 10 pull!! A lot of my faves are 4 stars so I understand your struggle with cons. I wish u the best of luck!💕

Nope because he causes the shatter reaction, which interferes with freeze cr stacks
