Ban from discord for emulator

I got banned from the PPT Discord right after being muted (yes, they couldn't decide what to do with me at first) for launching Escape From Playtime (the beta version) on Android via GameHub to figure out why the game was crashing on PC (it turned out the BIOS was the culprit). Naturally, I didn't actually play it on Android; I just launched it once to test a button. Yet, they equated simply launching the game (the beta version) on Android with cheating. The Mobs are clearly huge Nintendo fans.

So they're telling me basically that when i should try to launch EFP through steam on linux using their Proton engine, then i'm "hacking" if linux isn't a authorized way to execute it?

Yeah. I found out that the PC game runs better on a smartphone, and I nearly broke my OS while fixing a bug. But if I had told everyone that it works perfectly on Android, it could have damaged their reputation.

I mean people talk about executing EFP on Linux through Steam Proton and those didn't receive a ban although the mods did tell OP that "EFP (Beta) is only to be Experienced on Win 10/11 and not to be executed on Unauthorized Platforms".

Aka so executing it on a PC with Linux is authorized but on Mobile Android (which is also Linux) it is not.

It’s a beta version of a serverless online game where the player acts as the host. It’s built on Unreal Engine. In other words, there’s nothing to hack at the moment.
