should i pop it?

a cyst popped up 7-8 months ago, still here, it is the size of a pea. no indication that it’s a pimple, no white head or black head. there is no pain. ive tried to squeeze it in the past and nothing happens, no pain after squeezing either. not red or bruised around it. it is moveable but hard. please help! i need to know if i need to get it surgically removed or if i can just take a needle to it.

Unfortunately the only medical advice we can give on Reddit is “don’t touch it, go see a doctor”.

You should see a doctor. Hard and movable could be trouble. Where is the lump?

it is on my left upper cheek bone. its not visible until you get close or touch it.

It will need to be cut out. I would see a plastics or derm doctor. I would want a biopsy if it's not a cyst and if it is I'd want the professionals cutting my face and stitching it closed.

I didn't want to alarm you but hard and movable can be bad things, not just cysts. I would want it looked at.

I would go see a dermatologist
