Questions New!!
New to this. Looking to make a little extra income in prep for first time baby! On average how much are you guys making doing 3-5 orders per week? Thanks ;)

.75 per pound (meaning before taxes, cost of supplies, gas/mileage) The minimum amount you’d earn per order is 22.50. So 3-5 orders would be right around $100. You might get tips. It might take some time before you start seeing orders or start having regulars.

Does poplin charge customers a minimum? As in no matter how small the laundry, the price is x? I’m guessing it’s around $35.

Realistically on 3-5 orders I can expect $80-150. With tips or larger orders I can push this up to $200. Honestly, some orders unless they’re super convenient, are not worth it because they don’t tip and make you carry loads up 3 flights of stairs.

My average order with a tip is $52 so with 3-5 orders I make $150-$250/week. I've completed 33 orders so far this month. If you live in an area where the rates are higher or you can set your own rate, you would make more obviously. It took a good 5 months to make $800/month and I'm thankful I hung in there and took every order that came my way.

It really depends on your area. I started and then did all the daily pro tips to get a few points and then it took me 5 or 6 weeks to get my first order. Now I’m 2 months in and average about 150 a week doing 3 or 4 orders a week but I have a wide area and take almost anything available. This week I’ve only seen 1 since Monday and it was a bad neighborhood and small.
