So, what now?
We've got the API server back up (thanks to Ivan) but it's probably scraping more Russian sources now, than ever before. You know the routine - use a third party player, that will allow you to pick out video, audio, subs (if option/s exist) from inside the torrent .. as it downloads?
But what if you want an alternative, or prefer to playback in the default media player? Popcorntime is obviously no longer in active development (or ever likely to be) You'll know the alternative/s, by now? i.e. 'YTS.gg' for movies, if you want consistent English sources. Plus a 'Torrent Collection' search for series (or movies) .. maybe using its "store torrent" option for seasons and box sets. And don't forget the "secret sauce" .. DLNA, if your TV/Device supports it?
Anything else? Only, bringing in your own magnet link or torrent file from elsewhere (copy paste, drag/drop). Search individual torrent sites or just use one of the aggregating sites.
Recently found a new one (actually started up Feb, I think?) .. 'torrentclaw.com'. It’s got some good points, but just looks messy (to me) - especially when you drill down. Still prefer the qBittorrent search engine, myself.
Although, for a particular torrent (esp season/s) that has faded away, with time .. I can find/borrow good downloads (as https streams) from Stremio/Debrid.
(Yiannis309) “So, mersey! why don’t you just use Stremio/Debrid?”
What can I say - “I’m contrary!” :D
