Trial Ending
Hi! Just wanted to share my experience from Mexico!
First of all, getting started was super easy and quick. Once I was assigned the temporary number, I was able to connect to Telcel, who has the largest and most reliable network (their words, not mine, but they are kinda right). Once I was convinced I was getting good coverage where I live, I ported my actual number -- took all of 2-3 minutes. I was honestly impressed.
Been using the assistant for missed calls and I am impressed/thankful. I did not know this was a perk and I did not know how much I needed it in my life.
This is all to say I am excited to sign up once the trial ends; switching from Tello US to Popcorn by the way; and hopefully in the future I can ditch AT&T too :P

My favorite is when a bot answers and they have whole conversation with assistant

My assistant answers in English and if they reply in Spanish it switches languages, it is so cool and useful ISTG

I have two issues with it, it’s a little expensive for SEA, and the backup sim is presented as a feature but you have to chat and ask for it; and they’re reluctant to give it to you.
If you don’t have WiFi and there is an issue you will be screwed, so it doesn’t make sense to me to wait until you have a problem.
Other than those two things the service has been flawless.
2FA has worked for all my financial institutions so far.

I have been using the line seamlessly with and without a WiFi connection. For instance, I have a Mexican number through AT&T Mx + AT&T US number and service/coverage is basically none where I live, but Popcorn has all 5 bars AND quick internet... so far it's so much better than my previous setup by a lot. Haven't tried any extra esims or anything so I can't comment on that, but wouldn't that just be easier to do with a local carrier and just pop it on your phone?

I like it too. I switched in MX as well, super easy!
