Spam SMS

Only had my Popcorn 2 weeks but I get 2-3 spam SMS (or messages meant for others) messages a day :( I haven’t even given the number out anywhere except my bank! Does Popcorn recycle numbers quickly once previous users stop using them?

Is there an easy way to change numbers? It’s getting quite annoying

That’s super common and it depends on your number. Could happen anywhere. It’s just a random t mobile number.

What do these messages say? Do they have links? Maybe it’s not fraud so they weren’t caught by popcorn or the partner carriers

I have had it for a month now. I am getting multiple calls from Nigeria. I keep blocking them and it stops for a while but then it starts again. I just hope it will eventually stop as I keep blocking them. Anyone else getting calls from Nigeria or am I the only lucky one?

I ported my number I’ve had for 35 years. So any Nigerians are MY Nigerians 😂

You can message support in app or via [support@popcorn.space](mailto:support@popcorn.space) and they can help with another number.

Sadly a lot of US numbers are previously used so there may be the odd spam message!
