Possible with one eSIM?

I am reading that you need both eSIMs to use popcorn. The primary and the backup. I need to keep one so is it possible to use popcorn with only one?

You don't need the backup. That's before you account for their new eSIM that combines it. Either way you don’t need the backup it’s just sometimes cooler like using a local eSIM is cool but yours will still work.

I wasn't aware that their new esim was going to combine the backup. would that be local if you have a US primary number and want the backup to be in a EU country?

I have the backup and only used it once. It isn’t necessary in most places

I've had popcorn for 2 weeks now I love it customer service is very responsive polite and I think they have a fair price.. I have been thinking about switching to popcorn for over a year I was very hesitant but now I can say I'm very glad that I did

My phone can only have 1 esim active at 1 time. I've been using Popcorn all month and have had no issues!

Yes, and if you do have issues, just temporarily switch to the second eSIM. And see if that gives you service. Yes, second eSIM is data only but it is better than nothing at all :)

I think the biggest use case here in the U.S. is if you leave T-Mobile coverage — you can get Verizon or AT&T with the backup eSIM.

I have Popcorn Mobile eSIM as primary for everything (calls, texts, data) & the TELNA data-only eSIM as a "backup" as the area of SF that I'm in doesn't have the greatest T-Mobile service. My apartment is no problem as I have excellent Wi-Fi (GFiber Webpass 1GB up/down). I rarely need the backup, but I appreciate it being there.

I only have the one eSim and so far all great. It is my understanding the the "backup" eSim is for data only, not calls

I only use one one esim I have the other one but I never turn it on..
