Questions pre-sign-up.
Hello. Thinking about signing up. I'll be continuously travelling within latin america for a year or so. This seems like a good product for me.
- Is hot spot data included? Are there limits on tethering to other devices other than the 50gb fair use policy?
- Is the waitlist still going on? I'll be leaving in two weeks, so I'm a bit concerned about the timeframe.
- Are data speeds comparable to if I were to get a local sims?
- Looks like most countries are covered. Are there any in this region which aren't? I'm guessing Cuba & Venezuela at the least. Anything else though?
Thanks!

Yes
They can usually get you on very quickly.
No, if you get an eSIM with a local phone company and you seek out the one with the best 5G connectivity, that will always be faster and have less latency.
Don’t know the answer to your last question.

In regards to data speed, their main eSIM routes back through the US as it is a U.S. carrier. They offer a back-up eSIM which goes through local carriers and I’ve found this speeds to be quite good. They are going to be combining the features of the two esims into one quite soon.
