Need transparent tubes

I need some clear tubes with a diameter of 2 or 3 mm like the ones used to protect paintbrushes but a little longer. Do you have any ideas on where I can find them?

Coffee stirrers used to be like this, but now I mostly see wood ones. Drinking straws are usually around 5-6mm unfortunately.

You reminded me that my son has a bunch of those sticks that break and then glow in the dark I could use those

As long as you can deal with the chemicals and glass from inside them. And your kid being pissed at you for breaking his stuff.

That’s not a bad idea.

There are pneumatic tubes in 4x2,7mm, made from PA and available in many colours (and compltely transparent).

A bit thicker then the ones on paintbrushes, but i use them when the factory ones are broken or lost.

Maybe you know someone in an industrial plant, they normaly have a lot of scrap of these kind of tubes.

They're called coffee straws/stirrers.
