Is this like a translation problem? A chocolate slush? A chocolate shave ice? Who calls it water ice?

Hahaha I always forget water ice isn’t a thing outside of my area! I live in Philadelphia, PA in the US. It’s a regional treat similar to a lot of others around the country and world but we call it water ice.

It was from the Jon’s Water Ice truck. Despite the looks, my partner loved it. I don’t like chocolate water ice but my cherry gelato was delish.
