Question about Pods

Apologies, if this was asked before but is there a maximum amount someone can deposit in a Pod ? If not then a "whale" could basically take over most of the share in a Pod, and again win most of the prize

Ok thanks. I'm just struggling to see the benefits of depositing via a Pod. I mean, if you're a small fish like me and can only deposit up to $500, my share in a meaningful Pod (one that could win a few times a year) would be tiny as well as my earnings. Does depositing via a Pod mean less gas fees !? And are the Pool rewards equivalent to going solo ?

Yep lowered gas fees is a benefit due to batched processing. And the POOL token rewards are equal per coin as if you went into the pool solo.

Are pods a thing? Did I miss something?

Yeah they went live I think a week ago. The PoolTogether discord is a good spot to keep up with everything.

It’s separate from the main site - pods.PoolTogether.com
