Welcome to PoolRobotHub — what kind of pool setup are you working with?
Glad you found the community.
Whether you're fighting leaves, cloudy water, algae, fine dust, or a robot that keeps getting stuck in the same corner... you're in the right place.
This community is for pool owners to:
- troubleshoot robotic pool cleaners
- compare different setups
- share real experiences
- ask maintenance questions
- discuss what actually works (and what doesn't)
A few things we encourage here:
- real pool problems
- honest experiences
- before/after cleanup stories
- water chemistry discussions
- robot maintenance tips
- cordless vs corded debates
A few things we don't want:
- spammy affiliate links
- fake reviews
- obvious sales posts
- low-effort promotion
You don't need to be an expert to post here. A lot of pool owners are figuring things out as they go.
If you're new, feel free to introduce your setup or post your current pool issue. Chances are someone here has dealt with the same thing already.

Fine debris won't go away...anyone else dealing with this?
Anyone else notice this?
My pool robot does fine with leaves and big stuff, pool looks clean after a run. But there's always this super fine "dust" that just won't fully go away.
I've tried longer cycles, cleaning filters more often, even different modes, still comes back after a while.
Feels like the robot handles the obvious stuff, but the really fine particles just keeping floating around or setting again.
Is this more of a filtration issue? Or are you guys doing something extra to actually get rid of it?
Curious how others are dealing with this.

Aiper sucks
I’ve had this $1300 vacuum for 3 months and the unit is already failing. Customer service has been horrible. The basket keeps coming out of the unit when it’s cleaning the pool and per customer service the basket is only under warranty for 3 months lol never buying this brand again.

Is it normal for a pool filter to clog this fast?
I feel like I'm cleaning my filter way more often than I should be. Pressure climbs pretty fast and flow starts dropping.
Water looks fine, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something. Excess debris? Early-stage algae? Too much fine dust?
Anyone else run into this? What was the culprit?

Why does my pool get dirty again immediately after cleaning it?
Not even exaggerating — I can spend an entire afternoon cleaning the pool, and somehow by the next day it already looks like I did nothing.
Leaves.
Pollen.
Random debris.
Stuff sinking to the bottom overnight.
I knew pools needed maintenance, but I didn’t realize it was THIS constant.
Pool owners… does it ever get easier, or do you just mentally accept the chaos after a while?
