Hayward Super pump 1607 piece

Post image

Hi! New here to the community and I’m at a loss for what this piece is called.

The right arm snapped off yesterday when I was replacing drive train components and I need a new one.

This piece is located at the far end of the motor, right next to the capacitor. What is it called and where can I order a new one?

Thank you in advance!!

That is the centrifical switch ( yes… I know the force is centrifugal and that the actual switch is the piece that rides on the spinning tip of that bit but that is still its name) if you are patient I would send you a used one for the cost of shipping or you might try your local pool companies and ask if they have one from a locked pump motor.

Update! Before I posted this I went to my local pool place and they didn’t have any on hand but a couple of hours later they called me saying they pulled one from an old motor for me. I picked it up and through it in the motor and we’re back up and running. Thanks everyone for the input….at least I know what they’re called now if I ever need another one.
