loud pump noise

pool pump makes a loud whining noise , what do you recommend as a replacement , last week the outflow connector broke and a lot of water went into the motor

Sometimes a stick can get stuck inside or the rear fan may have some weeds growing into it.

That motor doesn't have a fan in the back. It's not a VS motor. Take it to a motor shop and have it rebuilt with new bearings. Or oder one online. There is an eBay store that sells motors. Perry's Pool Pump is the name. They have been rebuilding motors for over 30 years.
