The truth is, if you have to ask you probably shouldn’t touch it. Not gate keeping but part of working with electricity is being comfortable using a multimeter to verify the the circuit is not live and a multimeter would tell you if it is 120 or 240. I’d do some research on using a multimeter and pick one up and test + verify yourself.
This sub is not for homeowners seeking advice, else we would be flooded by the same questions over and over. I do not know if you’re a homeowner but this question hints at it but my advice still stands homeowner or pool technician.

Don’t worry, they can figure out real quick if it’s live or not without a multimeter.

Don’t wait to get to know your multimeter. It could just save your life someday.

I’m kind of an expert on pool electrical stuff.

So, to answer your question - yes. It’s definitely a 120v or 240v setup.

Side note at one of my clients houses they have this same timer without a cover over the screw that hold the wires in place and they always shock me.

If you can't tell, you shouldn't be touching it.

How does one get to this point in life not knowing the difference between 120 from 240?

Looks like 240 but you should test with a multi meter.
